With the original stenciled label on the hopper: THE CLIPPER MFD BY A.T. Ferrell & Co. SAGINAW, MICH and bears the patent date 1902. 44.5" high x 22.5" wide x 28" deep. A.T. Ferrell and Company was founded in 1869 in Ohio by John E. Smith. He sold the Business to A.T. Ferrell in 1891 who moved it to Saginaw. It soon became one of the leading companies that made seed and grain conditioning equipment. It still operates today as a division of the Bluffton Agri/Industrial Corporation.
