Includes a pressed Gothic Arch covered sugar on foot, the design showing three different Gothic Arch elements, attributed to the Boston & Sandwich Glass Co.; see B & K I, fig. 1084; 4.75" diameter x 5.25" tall; AND another covered sugar bowl with mismatched top & bottom; lid design is shown in Innes, Pittsburgh Glass, p. 271, pl. 279, with the bottom of alternating ribbed and diamond point Gothic arches on a short, 8-scalloped, slightly domed foot. This bowl was advertised by Curling, Robertson & Co. of Pittsburgh in 1856-1857 and was also manufactured by Boston & Sandwich & New England Glass (1868-1869); 4.75" diameter x 5.5" tall.
